A career counselor from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Educational Opportunity Center will accept appointments Monday, Nov. 13, in Neillsville.
The EOC provides information and counseling services free of charge to community adults. Individualized counseling includes career assessment and selection; investigation of training opportunities; and help with admissions, financial aid, and registration procedures. The counselor will use local labor market information to show where job growth will be and will explore a variety of training options such as certificate programs and one-, two- and four-year degrees.
The EOC counselor will take individual appointments from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clark County Job Center in Neillsville. To make an appointment, call (715) 743-4631.
EOC programs are funded by a U.S. Department of Education grant.
