MAILED: Oct. 26, 2000

EAU CLAIRE — Singer-songwriter Janet McLaughlin will perform three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Nov. 9-11. Her shows will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin, Davies Center.
The soul of McLaughlin's voice, combined with her skill as a guitarist, gives new life to pop, blues, country and folk tunes. She also performs in local benefit concerts where she shares the stage with such artists as Emmylou Harris, Roseanne Cash, John Hartford and John Prine.
The show is open to all ages. Soft drinks, domestic and imported beer, wine coolers and popcorn will be sold. Proof of age is required for alcohol purchases.
The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
