EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire residence halls will sponsor trick or treating for Eau Claire children in elementary school and younger from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Letters have been sent to area elementary schools inviting students to the event. Parents and children will meet in the lobbies of each residence hall throughout the evening, and guides will lead children through the halls. Parents are welcome to accompany their children or wait for them in the lobby.
In all residence halls, except Horan and Katharine Thomas halls, children will be able to go door to door throughout the building. Participating rooms will be marked with door decorations saying, "Trick or Treaters Welcome!" Treats will be offered in the lobbies of Horan and Katharine Thomas Halls.
UW-Eau Claire residence halls have been organizing trick or treating for Eau Claire community children for more than 10 years.
