EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing will present a program for nurses titled "Supervision in Long-Term Care" from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Holiday Inn Campus Area, Eau Claire.
The program will address the unique challenges in providing quality care to a fragile and aging population under challenging economic restraints and high staff turnover. Strategies for working with and supervising nursing assistants will be the focus of this program.
UW-Eau Claire's Mary Ellen Stolder program manager of UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing and former administrator in long-term care and Karen Witt, associate professor of nursing systems, will present the program.
The program costs $85, which includes instructional materials, lunch and refreshments. Participants may earn six continuing education contact hours.
