EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performance the week beginning Monday, September 25. The event is free and open to the public.
SUNDAY, OCT. 1:
- Dr. Donald Patterson, professor of music and theatre arts, will give a piano recital at 2 p.m. in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The performance will consist of 24 preludes by Claude Debussy. The first half of the recital will consist of 12 preludes from Debussy's Book I that was written in 1910. After the intermission Patterson will continue with 12 additional preludes from Book II, written in 1913. Among the preludes to be played are "Dancers of Delphi," "The Hills of Anacapri," "Dead Leaves" and "Fireworks."
