'Math For Young Achievers'

          EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Arts and Sciences will offer beginning and advanced courses of "Math for Young Achievers" during the fall semester.
          Beginning classes will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. and advanced from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays Sept. 23-Dec. 16 in Hibbard Hall.
          "Math for Young Achievers" is a program for elementary and middle school students who enjoy learning about different topics of mathematics. The program is designed to facilitate the growth of students' abilities in mathematics, to improve their skills and to give them self-confidence in learning new material. The advanced level for middle school students will cover algebra and geometry topics.
          The cost for the 12 classes is $140 for beginning level tuition and materials and $200 for advanced level.
