EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, Nursing in partnership with UW-Extension will offer a program for nurses titled "Health Assessment of Adults," which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Fridays Sept. 8 and 22 and Oct. 6 and 20.
          The program will address the essentials of history taking, an overview of physical assessment, and assessment by systems. In addition to lecture, discussion and demonstration, participants will have time to practice what they learn.
          Cheryl Brandt, instructor of adult health nursing, will present the program, which costs $210, including instructional materials and refreshments. Participants may earn 28 continuing education contact hours.
