EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire School of Nursing will offer free health evaluation clinics for children, ages five through 12, Monday, Aug. 7.
The clinics will include a review of the child's health history, nutrition assessment, vision and hearing screening, and a physical examination.
School of Nursing faculty and nursing students conduct the clinics under the supervision of certified nurse practitioners. Faculty will be available to sign some sports or camp physical forms.
The clinics are paced to allow explanation of procedures to the child so it can be a positive experience with health care for the children. Parents should allow about two hours for the screenings.
Limited appointments are available by calling (715) 836-5515. -30- LWG
