MAILED: June 8, 2000
A course designed to help people build confidence in their Spanish speaking skills for their personal, travel and business needs will be offered this summer at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
"Survival Spanish II" will be offered 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays June 13 through July 25 in room 306 of Hibbard Hall. There will be no class on July 4.
"Survival Spanish II" is a continuation of "Survival Spanish I," but also would be ideal for those with some previous background in the Spanish language. The customs and cultures of the Spanish speaking world also will be covered.
Josette Migawa and Dale Gable, who both are Spanish lecturers in the department of foreign languages at UW-Eau Claire, will teach the class.
The $245 fee includes instruction and materials.
For further information and to register, contact Jean Peterson, program coordinator in UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education, at (715) 836-2031 or send her e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
