EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire department of art and the College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer "Beginning Black and White Photography" May 30-June 16.
This studio class, taught by Deirdre Monk, assistant professor of art, will introduce the aesthetics and techniques of black and white photography as a fine art form of expression. Students will produce images by using black and white film and will discuss contemporary and historic images.
The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Monday through Friday in Room 207 of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The class costs $397.71 for three undergraduate credits or $110.34 to audit. Each student also must pay a $35 materials fee.
