EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire athletics program will hold a free carnival for area children from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 7, in McPhee Physical Education Center.
          Each UW-Eau Claire athletic team will be in charge of one carnival activity. For example, the track and cross country teams are joining together to create an obstacle course on the indoor track as their carnival activity and other teams are organizing similar activities.
          The carnival is targeting elementary school children, but all are welcome.
