Two University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire bachelor of fine arts degree candidates will exhibit their works in May.
Senior Ted Semling, Winona, Minn., will have his exhibit, "Life, Death, Earth, Fire," on display May 6-9 at 511 S. Barstow St. Semling mostly will display his clay works, but a few paintings, drawings and a video also will be displayed. A reception for the exhibit will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the exhibit location.
Semling said his work is growing and changing continually and that he tries to express whatever is going on at the moment. "Clay is like that," he said.
Jarrett Moe, a senior from Chisago City, Minn., will display ceramic works in his exhibit titled "De-evolution" from May 10-24 at The State: Regional Arts Center. A reception for the exhibit will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 13, in the exhibit location.
