| Speaker to Discuss Norwegian
Resistance During World War II

The deputy director of Norway's Resistance Museum in Oslo, Norway, will speak at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Wednesday, May 3.
Ivar Kraglund's presentation, titled "Norway During the War: Civilian Resistance A Powerful Weapon?," will begin at 7 p.m. in the Presidents Room, Davies Center.
The Resistance Museum is housed in the Akershus Castle where Norwegian patriots were executed by Nazis in World War II.
Kraglund, who began as an education officer and researcher, has worked for the Resistance Museum since 1980. Several of his works on Norway during World War II have been published, and he participates in educational work through the National Union of Museums.
The presentation is sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire history department and Phi Alpha Theta.
