MAILED: March 29, 2000
EAU CLAIRE
Because ethical decisions often confront professional nurses, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education in Nursing/UW-Extension will sponsor a program titled "Ethical Decision-Making: Using a Framework to Help You Decide."
The program will be presented from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13, in Room 114 of the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing. Participants also may view the live presentation via satellite in Room 111 of St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Cecilia Wendler, assistant professor of nursing systems, will describe and use an ethical decision-making framework to help nurses understand and articulate their own ethical approaches to complex problems.
The program costs $45, which covers instructional materials. Attendees will earn three continuing education contact hours. The registration deadline is Friday, April 7.
Contact the Continuing Education in Nursing office, (715) 836-5745, for more information. -30- BW
