EAU CLAIRE
For the fourth consecutive year, the Wisconsin School Psychologist Association has selected a University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student as the recipient of the Allard Award.
Jennifer McGuire, Highland, earned a bachelor's degree in 1997 and a master's in 1998, both from UW-Eau Claire. She has passed the National Association of School Psychologists Nationally Certified School Psychologist qualifying exam and is in the first semester of her internship year.
The Allard Award is given to the state's most outstanding psychology graduate student in a non-doctoral program. Dr. William Frankenberger, professor of psychology, said, "I know that all of us who know Jennifer realize that she truly deserves to be recognized for the outstanding student that she is."
Frankenberger presented the $300 award to McGuire at the WSPA convention in Wisconsin Dells March 16. -30- JLW/BW
