EAU CLAIRE
Due to economic constraints and nursing shortages, an increasing number of assistive personnel are involved in health care. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education in Nursing will sponsor a program that addresses supervisory skills needed by the nurses who work in this environment.
The program, "Supervision in Acute Care Nursing," will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Campus Area, Eau Claire.
Mary Ellen Stolder, project recruiter and coordinator for the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing, and Karen Witt, associate professor of nursing systems, will present the program.
The program fee is $85, which includes instructional materials, lunch and refreshments. Participants, who should register by the April 2 deadline, will earn six continuing education contact hours for attending the program.
Contact the Continuing Education in Nursing/UW-Extension office, (715) 836-5745, for more information. -30- BW
