EAU CLAIRE —
The Michael Scott Band will perform three free concerts at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire March 30-April 1. The shows will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in The Cabin, Davies Center.
Performing a uniquely melodic fusion of folk, pop and rock, brothers Michael and Scott Robertson have developed a style fueled by Scott's vocals and Michael's "James Taylor meets Eddie Van Halen" guitar playing. Their songs are played on acoustic guitars and have poetic lyrics embracing such subjects as reincarnation, childhood and love for the spiritual richness of the mountains.
The Michael Scott Band has put their songs together in their critically acclaimed CD release "Four Years Later."
The shows are free and open to all ages. Proof of age is required for alcohol purchase. The Cabin program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
