EAU CLAIRE —
More than 20 countries and six continents are represented in the international speakers bureau sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Center for International Education.
International students — as well as Americans who have studied abroad — will speak to classes and community groups of various sizes about assorted topics related to their native countries, including culture, language, the educational system, social and family values, political and economic systems, and dating and marriage customs.
The students, who do not charge a fee, are featured in two booklets offered by the Center for International Education. Arrangements for speaking engagements are to be made directly with the students. For more information or to request the booklets, call (715) 836-4411 or e-mail inted@uwec.edu.
