EAU CLAIRE —
The University Bookstore has announced that Avalon Floral Design now is serving the university community through its floral department in Davies Center.
Avalon, at its primary location at 409 Water St., has become known throughout the area as the region's premier florist. The store's award-winning designers specialize in European styles, using a wide variety of products imported from Europe, South America, Southern California and Australia.
The University Bookstore's floral department features a variety of designs appropriate for residence hall, office or home. Specialty containers, such as water bottles, can cozies and coffee mugs featuring the university seal, are filled with blue and gold flowers. Birthday and cheer-up bouquets in clear glass vases and bud vases are available in a wide price range. Single-stem flowers, including roses, gerbera daisies and sunflowers, also are sold.
The University Bookstore on the lower level of Davies Center is open Monday and Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
