Five Social Work Scholarships

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire department of social work has announced its five 1999-2000 scholarship recipients.
The recipients are senior social work majors. Overall academic achievement was considered in selecting the students.
Shelly Stamm, New Berlin, received the $100 Julie Guite Memorial Social Work Scholarship. One of the selection criteria was the student's demonstration of interpersonal skills and adjustment.
Erin Ginder, Madison, and Jennifer Klobassa, Apple Valley, Minn., each received the $600 Lloyd & Jeanette Piper Memorial Social Work Scholarship. Participation in campus organizations that demonstrate leadership was one of the criteria used to determine recipients.
Adriana Monti, Whitefish Bay, received the $175 Jean Klein Memorial Social Work Scholarship, which looked at her demonstration of interpersonal skills and adjustment.
Kimberly Andres, Marshfield, received the $250 Elwood Theodore LeDue Memorial Social Work Scholarship, which considered the student's humanitarianism. -30- BW
