UW-Eau Claire Winter Break
Parking Regulations Announced
MAILED: Dec. 17, 1999|
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Parking and Transportation Services office has announced its parking regulations for the winter break, which runs from Dec. 23 through Jan. 21.
To park in guaranteed faculty rows in the Phillips and Hibbard lots motorists will need a parking permit. Guaranteed faculty parking rows are marked with GF signs. Other parking spots are available without a permit.
Beginning Jan. 18, motorists must have faculty parking permits to park in the faculty rows of the Murray Parking Lot between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m.
All other parking regulations including 15-minute, no parking and loading zones, handicap areas and parking meters will be enforced.
The Visitor Center will be closed during most of the winter break but will be open 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 20 and 21. Normal operating hours will resume Jan. 24.
The city's normal bus service to UW-Eau Claire will end Dec. 22. The Water Street route will resume for Winterim classes Jan. 3. Regular spring semester service will begin Jan. 24.
If a vehicle stalls or does not start in a university lot, the motorist must contact UW-Eau Claire's Public Safety office so an officer can place a disabled vehicle tag on the vehicle. If a vehicle does not have such a tag issued by Public Safety, it will be ticketed.
The Parking and Transportation Services office will be closed Dec. 24 and 31, as well as Jan. 17.
