EAU CLAIRE — Five University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire management information systems majors have been awarded a total of $3,000 in scholarships provided by 3M, Cargill Inc. and Federated Insurance.
3M, which has been funding scholarships since 1982, awarded two $500 scholarships. Senior Lynn Oberlander, Burnsville, Minn., and senior Christopher Cisler, Stanley, were the recipients.
Cargill Inc., which has been funding scholarships since 1981, also awarded two $500 scholarships. Senior Kris Larsen, Rice Lake, and senior Patrick Brown, Chaska, Minn., were the recipients.
Federated Insurance of Owatonna, Minn., which began funding scholarships this year, awarded one $1,000 scholarship. Junior Kevin Scully, Lyndon Station, was the recipient.
