EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Wind Symphony fall concert will feature associate professor of music Rodney Hudson as a guest artist.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Under the direction of music lecturer Dr. Robert R. Bayless, the Wind Symphony will perform works including Paul Hindemith's "March" from "Symphonic Metamorphosis," "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by J.S. Bach and Vittorio Giannini's Symphony No. 3.
The Wind Symphony also will perform Norman Leyden's Concerto for Trombones, featuring Hudson, junior Ben Covi, Neenah, and junior Nathan Medsker, Eau Claire.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $4.75 for adults, $3.75 for seniors, children 17 and under and faculty/staff with university ID, or $1.25 for students with university ID. -30- JV/BW
