EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Fall Short Play Festival will occupy Riverside Theatre of the Haas Fine Arts Center Tuesday, Nov. 16, through Friday, Nov. 19.
The following plays will be performed from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 18:
  • "Five Little Monkeys" by David MacDonald — Directed by senior Kate Grosskopf, Fall Creek, and performed by freshman Blair Walker, Osseo, and community member Mauricio Alessandro Urusquieta, North Prairie.

  • "Bitter Sauce" by Eric Bogosian — Directed by senior Sarah Le Duc, Fall Creek, and performed by sophomores Matt Rightmire, Medford, and Jordan R. Keller, Wisconsin Dells, and freshman Anna Figlesthaler, Fox Point.

  • "Four Walls" by Gus Edwards — Directed by senior Jason O. Hafeman, Algoma, and performed by seniors Lieneke Arndt, Waukesha, and Benjamin Hafeman, Algoma, and junior Jessi Else, Rochester, Minn.

The following plays will be performed from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 16 and from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 18:
  • "You Can't Trust the Male" by Randy Noojin — Directed by senior Kate Merwin, Fond du Lac, and performed by sophomore Matt Simmons, Madison, and Jessi Else.

  • "Snowangel" by Lewis John Carlino — Directed by senior Nancy Fortney, Lake Geneva, and performed by freshman John Cohen, Madison, and sophomore Heather Cork, Eau Claire.

  • "Echo" by Joseph T. Shipley — Directed by senior Todd Moen, Burnsville, Minn., and performed by junior Dana Hazen, Minnetonka, Minn., freshmen Kevin Tambornino, Wausau, and Ben Charboneau, Rochester, Minn., and sophomore Chris Major, Eau Claire.

The following plays will be performed from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 17 and from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 19:
  • "A Dead Man's Apartment" by Edward Allan Baker — Directed by senior Joseph A. Nicikowski, Racine, and performed by freshmen Kale Nelson, Frederic, and Gretchen Hunsberger, Little Suamico, junior Brian Benson, Superior, and senior Jenny Nie, De Forest.

  • "The Cherry Orchard" by Richard Nelson — Directed by senior Christy Tomczak, Park Falls, and performed by Jordan R. Keller, Matt Simmons, freshmen Alder Swanson, Washburn, and Tina Beaton, Cross Plains.

  • "I Can't Remember Anything" by Arthur Miller — Directed by senior Megan McGee, Oshkosh, and performed by senior John Sams, Hudson, and freshman Emily McPeck, Clayton.

The following plays will be performed from 8 to 10 p.m. Nov. 17 and from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 19:
  • "Under Control" by Elinor Jones — Directed by senior Stacey Schreiber, Cottage Grove, Minn., and performed by community member Jefferson Brown, senior Carissa Trumble, Cushing, and junior Elizabeth Nelson, Mankato, Minn.

  • "The Valentine Fairy" by Ernest Thompson — Directed by senior Ben Richgruber, Sparta, and performed by junior Jody Gross, Gleason, and Mauricio Alessandro Urusquieta.
