'Saturday Samplers'

Space remains in the upcoming "Saturday Samplers" sponsored by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire College of Arts and Science Continuing Education/UW-Extension.
"Heart to Hand: Holiday Crafts" offers participants an opportunity to complete craft projects they may take with them. The workshop runs from 10 am to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 6 in Davies Center. The class choices include "Unique Greeting Cards," "Country Cardholder," "Winter Wonderland Floor Mat," "Whimsical Snowman Wall Hangings," "Tin Embossed Ornaments and Frames" and "Christmas Necklaces." Participants may choose one class for the morning and/or one for the afternoon at a cost of $18 each, which covers materials and instruction. Registration deadline is Nov. 4.
"MINDful BODY and SOUL" will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Tamarack Room, Davies Center. The workshop covers Tai Chi, nutrition, aromatherapy and a Cardio Kick class. The day's activities cost $32, and participants will be on their own for lunch. Individuals may register in advance or at the door.
