EAU CLAIRE
Under the direction of Nobuyoshi Yasuda, assistant professor of music, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Orchestra will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
The orchestra will open the program with Leonard Bernstein's Overture to "Candide" followed by "Appalachian Spring" by Aaron Copland. After a short intermission, the program will close with Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 2 in D major.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, children 17 and under and faculty/staff with university ID, or $1.50 for students with university ID. -30- JV/BW
