Annual Art Trip to Chicago

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire art department will take its annual trip to Chicago Oct. 8-10.
Participants will visit the Art Institute of Chicago, one of the premier art museums in the world and renowned for its Impressionist collection. The Roy Lichtenstein "Interiors" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as the museum's permanent collection, will be included in the trip.
Free time for sightseeing, shopping and touring other museums will be available on Saturday of the trip.
Art Department Chair Steve Katrosits and Bobby Pitts, associate professor, will lead the tour, which is open to university students, faculty and staff, as well as community members.
Cost of the trip is $120, which includes round-trip motor coach transportation, hotel and entry to the MCA. Tickets are available at the Service Center of Davies Center. The deadline to sign up is Oct. 1.
An organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 5, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 105 of Haas Fine Arts Center.
