New Scholarship Created For
American Indian Nursing Students |

EAU CLAIRE
A recently created scholarship will provide additional financial support to American Indian students studying nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The William Bartlett Scholarship for Native Americans will provide a minimum of $10,000 a year in scholarship monies to selected students.
Recipients should be American Indians who are interested in pursuing a nursing degree at UW-Eau Claire. Bartlett requested that when scholarship recipients are identified, preference be given to residents of Wisconsin. Awards also will be based on academic accomplishment and need.
Cheryl Alexander, a senior nursing major from Hayward, was the first recipient of the scholarship. -30- JB
