Summer Nursing Camp
Set for July at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE —
A summer camp offered through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire School of Nursing will give area high school students the opportunity to learn more about a career in nursing and the healthcare.
Participants of the camp, to be held July 11-18, will learn to evaluate their own health and will practice health promotion skills as they explore the various career opportunities. Field trips to area health care facilities will be made to observe first hand health care workers in action.
The students also will learn about college life, UW-Eau Claire and School of Nursing admission criteria, financial assistance availability and how to prepare for a successful professional educational program.
The cost of the camp is $375, which includes the cost of tuition, room and board and materials. Department of Public Instruction scholarships may be available.
