In UW System Research Symposium

University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students and faculty will participate in the UW System Undergraduate Research Symposium that will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 24 to 26 at the UW-La Crosse Cartwright Center.
There will be 15 UW-Eau Claire students who will be attending the symposium and 10 faculty members.
The students include: senior mathematics major Holly Hauschild of Glidden, senior Joel Aggerholm of Fall Creek, senior psychology major Jeffrey Miller of Eau Claire, senior Spanish major Alma Rivera of Grantsburg, junior marketing major Cynthia Tryba of Junction City, senior history major Tiffany O'Bryan of Eau Claire, senior mathematics major Jeffrey Clay of Appleton, freshman Geir Helleloid of Eau Claire, senior physics Jesse Nimmer of Eau Claire, junior pre-engineering Jodie Engh of Lakeville, Minn., junior chemistry major Keetra Plegge of Irma, junior computer science major Michael Betzel of River Falls, senior biology major Erica Barrette of Greenfield, senior biochemistry and molecular chemistry major Dawn Schroeder of Waunakee, senior American Indian studies Debbie Ledo-Anderl of Chippewa Falls.
The faculty who will attend are assistant professor of mathematics Michael Penkava, professor of music and theatre arts Terry Allen, associate professor of allied health professions Lee Anna Rasar, professor of foreign languages Angelo Armendariz, assistant professor of foreign languages Eva Santos-Phillips, professor of mathematics Andrew Balas, associate lecturer of geology Kim Pierson, senior lecturer of English Mary Ellen Alea, coordinator of research services Donald Zeutschel and assistant dean of professional studies Christopher Lind.
