Painting Workshop

EAU CLAIRE — There will be a workshop series titled "Painting In and Out" offered to Eau Claire area residents this summer at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The workshop will run June 21-24 and June 28-July 1 for a total of eight sessions. Sessions will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room 212 of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Participants can be advanced beginners, intermediate or advanced painters. Participants will learn new exercises for painting with watercolors indoors and outdoors.
Janet Carson, who taught art at UW-Eau Claire for 26 years, will be the instructor for the workshop. Carson has painted in the Greek islands, Guatemala and France.
The fee for the painting workshop is $90, which covers instruction. Participants will be asked to bring their own materials. Enrollment is limited and the registration deadline is June 14.
The UW-Eau Claire College of Arts and Sciences Continuing Education and UW-Extension will sponsor the workshop.
