Jazz Ensemble I to Perform

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Jazz Ensemble I will present a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Under the direction of Robert Baca, associate professor of music, the ensemble will perform works including Cole Porter's "The Song is You," "Night in Tunisia" by Dizzy Gillespie, Slide Hampton's "Frame for the Blues," and "Anatomy of a Murder" by Duke Ellington.
Numerous student soloists will be featured on the program, along with a special performance of selections from "Porgy and Bess" by the UW-Eau Claire Sax Quartet.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, are $4.75 for the public, $3.75 for seniors, children under 18, faculty or staff with university ID or $1.25 for students with university ID.
