UW-Eau Claire Forensics Team
Places 11th in National Tournament

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Forensics team ranked 11th in the nation at the National Forensics Association Tournament held at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich.
Senior Kate Grosskopf, Fall Creek, was a finalist in the Rhetorical Criticism category and captured sixth-place honors.
Grosskopf also was a semifinalist, top 12 of the nation, in the Dramatic Dialogue Interpretation and After-Dinner Speaking categories. Senior Melanie Miller, Anoka, Minn., brought home semifinal honors in After-Dinner Speaking.
Sophomore Arwen Williams, Eau Claire, was a quarterfinalist in Rhetorical Criticism, placing in the top 24 of the nation.
The team will next compete in the Interstate Oratory Contest in Lexington, Kent.
