Star In 'The Hothouse'

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Theatre's last play of the academic year will be Harold Pinter's "The Hothouse." The play will run at 7:30 p.m. May 5-8 and 11-15, and at 1:30 p.m. May 9 in Riverside Theatre of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Cast members include seniors Peter McCain, Oshkosh, Jennifer Westlund, Eau Claire, and Matthew M. Stuhl, River Falls. Junior cast members are Tom Gross, Oconomowoc, and Seniz Yargici, Arden Hills, Minn. David Hodorowski, Eau Claire, and Aaron Zook, Fall Creek, are the two sophomore cast members.
Theatre arts professor Terry Allen will direct "The Hothouse." Senior Rebecca Multz, Anoka, Minn., is the assistant director/stage manager.
Senior James Peliwo, Arkdale, designed the "retro-future" set of the government-run mental institution the play takes place in. Community member Ann Behrens is the costume designer.
Junior David Harks, Plymouth, will assist Allen with sound, theatre arts professor William F. Mellien will do the lighting design and senior Rebecca Ernst, Eden Prairie, Minn., will do makeup for the cast members.
Tickets, available at the University Service Center (715) 836-3727, are $7 for the public, $5 for seniors and children under 18, or $4 for faculty, staff or students with university ID. -30- JV/JB
