The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire McIntyre Library has a display on its second floor titled "Many Nations: The Indian and Alaska Native People of the United States."
The display, which focuses on North America's Native people, is part of a series of displays developed by the Library of Congress. It describes their rich diversity and traces the history of Indian-European-American relations.
The UW-Eau Claire exhibit was planned in conjunction with Native American Awareness Week, April 19-23.
The Library of Congress has created the display from a collection of illustrated reports, prints, drawings, photographs, maps, the Indian language and dictionaries as well as other works. The display also features Indian leaders, writers and artists.
