Traditional Pow Wow Set For
April 24 at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE
The Honoring Education Traditional Pow Wow will be held April 24 in Zorn Arena at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
UW-Eau Claire and the American Indian Student Association invites the public to come share a day of Indian dancing and singing.
The Grand Entries will begin at 1 and 7 p.m. and a feast will begin at 5 p.m.
Tickets, available at the door, are $3. The event is free for those 60 and older.
Bruce Sonnenberg, St. Croix Anishinaabe, will be the master of ceremonies. The host drums will be Little Otter-Mille Lacs-Anishinaabe and Wisconsin Dells Singers-Ho-Chunk. Invited drums are Lake Delton-Ho-Chunk, Pipestone-Lac Courte Oreilles Anishinaabe, Badger Singers-Lac Courte Oreilles Anishinaabe and Lakeshore Singers-St. Croix Anishinaabe.
Event sponsors include the American Indian Student Association, the American Ethnic Coordinating Office, Title IX, the American Indian Studies Program, University Activities Commission, UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Arts and Sciences Continuing Education, the Bahai Faith Community and the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing.
