Seventeen University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire senior art students will show their works in a graphic design and illustration portfolio exhibit.
A reception for the exhibit will run from 2-4 p.m. April 10 in the Foster Gallery of the Haas Fine Arts Center. The exhibit will run April 7-11.
The show is the combined effort of Erika L. Miller, West Salem, Shawn C. Waller, Altoona, Kelly S. Buran, Brookfield, Angela L. Fadness, Eau Claire, Kristen-Sara Stiers, La Crosse, Jennifer L. Prager, Beaver Dam, Christopher J. Rommell, Frederic, Ryan W. Loomis, Appleton, Jennifer D. Engel, Strum, Heidi Jo Veldboom, Oostburg, Tara Pederson, McFarland, Aimee Hallberg, Bloomington, Minn., Douglas Swerdfiger, St. Louis Park, Minn., Jim Nicodemus, Superior, Amy Rubenzer, Chippewa Falls, Scott Henning, Beloit, and Karen Christophersen, Green Bay.
"Since graphic design is essentially communication, I do my best to convey the message by drawing on my everyday influences as well as my formal training," Fadness said of her work.
Stiers describes her work as "conveying an idea to an audience through the use of type, forma and color; producing an aesthetically pleasing and informative piece."
