EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Singing Statesmen will join by invitation the Eau Claire Male Chorus for a concert at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at Regis High School.
As guest performers, The Singing Statesmen will perform "Goin' Up To Glory" by Andre Thomas, Brant Adams' "Exsultate Justi in Domino," "Miserere" by Gregorio Allegri and Jackson Berkey's "Ascendit Deus."
The choirs will combine to perform "Two Passages from the Testament of Freedom," with words by Thomas Jefferson and music composed by Randall Thompson. Schwartzhoff said this year marks the 100th anniversary of the composer's birth in 1899.
Tickets will be available at the door.
