Summer Athletic Programs

EAU CLAIRE —
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host two athletic programs for children this summer in the McPhee Physical Education Center.
The 32nd annual Summer Gymnastics & Aquatics School for Children will be offered from 8:50 to 11:10 a.m. June 15 to July 1 under the instruction of Mary Mero and Julie Scott.
The program is designed for boys and girls ages 5 through 12. Scheduled activities include swimming, dance, track and field events and soccer.
The cost of the program is $120 and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The 30th annual Summer Gymnastics Camp is slated for July 5 to 10 and July 11 to17.
The camp, designed for girls from beginning to advanced levels of gymnastics ages 5 and up, will offer instruction in areas including tumbling, dance, trampoline, vaulting, balance beam and uneven parallel bars.
The cost of the camp, directed by Mary Mero, is $195 for commuters or $315 per week for room, board and tuition.
Registration deadline is June 15.
