Lecture on Iraq Sanctions

EAU CLAIRE —
A lecture discussing the United States' sanctions against Iraq is slated for Monday, March 8, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The lecture is intended to raise awareness of the United States' policy has on Iraq. A speaker from Voices in the Wilderness will show slides and discuss the organization's campaign to end economic sanctions against the Middle East nation. The Voices in the Wilderness sends delegations to Iraq to bring medical supplies to children and families
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Oneida Room of Davies Center.
The UW-Eau Claire student chapter of Amnesty International will sponsor the program.
