EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Center for International Education is sponsoring the 1998-1999 International Speakers Bureau to present speeches on an array of countries and cultures.
The bureau consists of international students attending UW-Eau Claire and U.S. students who also have studied abroad.
Countries represented in the students' presentations include Australia, Brazil, England, Germany, Scotland and Mexico. Topics for speeches include the history, language, education, customs and current fashion trends of these and other countries.
Faculty and staff and others interested in inviting a speaker to present to a class or organization should pick up the International Speakers Bureau booklet, which features all of the students involved and the countries they will give presentations about. The booklets are free and available in the Center for International Education Office, room 111 of Schofield Hall.
For more information, contact the Center for International Education at (715) 836-4411.
