Ska Fest Set For
March 5 at UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE
Five bands will be featured at the sixth Interstate Ska Fest Friday, March 5, at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The evening of up-tempo Jamaican-style dance music will start at 7 p.m. in the Council Fire Room, Davies Center.
Bands include the Chicago ska-punk collective The Blue Meanies; The Invaders (Milwaukee), performing a high-energy mix they call "Brewtown Ska"; 3 Minute Hero, nominated for the 1998 Minnesota Music Award's Best New Band; Umbrella Bed (Minneapolis), known as the premier ska band in the upper Midwest; and Honest Johnny (Eau Claire).
Tickets are $7 ($5 for UW-Eau Claire students) at the University Service Center, (715) 836-3727, and at the door. The show is open to all ages; proof of age is required in the bar area.
