Senior American's Day
Slated For March 16

EAU CLAIRE
The 11th annual Senior Americans' Day will be held Tuesday, March 16, in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Davies Center.
With the theme of "Primetimers U," the event includes activities and programs designed to emphasize lifelong education and entertainment for older adults. The schedule of events includes several workshop sessions such as "Start Something New" and "Mind Expanders."
Workshop activities include Tai Chi, bowling, beginning the Internet, ballroom dancing and watercolor painting. Presentations such as "How to Be a Good Medicare Consumer" and "Job SearchTips on How to Find Work," also are among the choices for workshop sessions.
Registration for the all-day event begins at 7:30 a.m. and programs will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The conference is offered through UW-Eau Claire Arts and Sciences Continuing Education/UW-Extension and is sponsored by Grace Lutheran Foundation Inc., the Eau Claire County Department on Aging, Mental Health Association in Eau Claire County Inc. and Age Advantage Inc.
Pre-registration is preferable, but tickets will be offered at the door. The cost is $20.
