Jazz Concert Set

EAU CLAIRE
A jazz concert by flutist Galen Abdur-Razzaq on Feb. 1 will kick off the celebration of Black History Month at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The prominent jazz musician will present a master class/lecture on Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. and will perform in concert with UW-Eau Claire students from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Both programs are in Schofield Auditorium. The events are free and open to the public.
Galen Abdur-Razzaq is known on college campuses nationwide for his intellectually stimulating lectures and powerful jazz performances. A former student of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and a graduate of Rutgers University, he holds a master of fine arts degree.
The program is sponsored by the University Activities Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
