Forensics Team Places
Seventh at Bradley Tournament

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire forensics team competed in the Bradley University tournament the weekend of Nov. 7-8 in Peoria, Ill.
The team placed seventh out of several teams in Team Sweepstakes.
Freshman Eric Rasmussen, Eau Claire, led the team placing first in novice prose and fourth in novice information. Senior Melanie Miller, Anoka, Minn., placed third in varsity after-dinner speaking and sixth in varsity poetry interpretation and program oral interpretation. Miller also advanced to the quarterfinals in varsity prose interpretation.
Sophomore Arwen Dale, Eau Claire, advanced to the semifinals in varsity informative speaking along with sophomore Jodi Becker, Germantown, in varsity rhetorical criticism. Becker and sophomore Reid Sollberger, Spooner, advanced to the quarterfinals in varsity duo interpretation.
Advancing to the quarterfinals in varsity prose interpretation were senior Kate Grosskopf, Fall Creek, and sophomore Barbara Ellevold, Pulaski.
