Short Play Festival Slated
For Nov. 16-20

EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will host a short play festival Nov. 16-20 in Kjer Theatre.
Five groups of student-directed plays will be performed at one of two times during the festival.
"These are some truly awesome shows there's a handful of crazy comedies in the mix," said Megan Mcgee, a junior theatre arts and Spanish major.
Monday's performances include: 4-6 p.m., "Zoo Story" and "Hopscotch"; and 8-10 p.m., "The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre," "Graceland" and "It's Called the Sugar Plum."
Tuesday's performances include: 4-6 p.m., "Dying Gaul," "The Cowboy, The Indians and the Fervent Feminist" and "You Can't Trust the Male"; and 8 to 10 p.m., "Total Recall," "Black and Silver" and "Naomi in the Living Room."
Wednesday's performances include: 4-6 p.m., "Penguin Blues," "Sonny DeRee's Life Flashes Before His Eyes" and "Rusty and Rico"; and 8-10 p.m., "Zoo Story" and "Hopscotch."
Thursday's performances include: 4-6 p.m., "The Saint Valentines' Day Massacre," "Graceland" and "It's Called the Sugar Plum"; and 8-10 p.m., "Dying Gaul," "The Cowboy, The Indian and the Fervent Feminist" and "You Can't Trust the Male."
