Indian Mascots Set for Nov. 12

EAU CLAIRE —
A community forum titled "Indian Mascots" will be held Nov. 12 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The program will run from 7:30-9 p.m. in Davies Theatre.
The lecture is designed to inform members of the public about schools' uses of Native Americans as mascots and logos.
Barb Munson (Oneida Tribes of Wisconsin Indians) of the Multicultural Information Center and the Wisconsin Indian Education Association will be the presenter.
The cost is $5. To register, contact the UW-Eau Claire Arts & Continuing Education office at (715) 836-2031. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
