EAU CLAIRE
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire music and theatre arts department will present the following musical performances the week beginning Monday, Nov. 2. All events are free and open to the public.
- SUNDAY, NOV. 8:
- Faculty members and guest artists will present "Les Favorites," a collection of pieces featuring Baroque flute, Baroque oboe, Baroque violin, Baroque violoncello and harpsichord. Timothy Lane, associate professor, will play flute, professor Ivar Lunde Jr. will perform on oboe and professor Nanette Lunde will play harpsichord. Two guest artists, violinist Lucinda Marvin, Woodville, Minn., and cellist Laura Handler, Minneapolis, both members of the Lyra Concert (Twin Cities Baroque Orchestra), will join the faculty in performing selections from Braun, de la Guerre, Handel, Balbastre and Hotteterre. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
