Offers New York Trip

EAU CLAIRE —
They've seen the Windy City, so they're moving to the Big Apple. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire art department is planning a trip to New York City during spring break.
From March 12-21, 1999, the first 42 people who sign up for the trip will be shopping, seeing plays, enjoying art and music and sightseeing in the No. 1 tourist destination in the world. The trip is open to UW-Eau Claire students and faculty, as well as members of the Eau Claire area community.
An informational meeting about the trip is slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, in room 105 of the Haas Fine Arts Center.
Included in the price of the trip are transportation, hotel accommodations and group entrance fees to several museums. For a twin room, the cost is $610 per person and for a quad room the price is $460 per person. The quad suites of The Hotel Wellington consist of two rooms and a kitchenette.
Tickets are available at the University Service Center in Davies Center. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 8. For additional information about the trip, call the UW-Eau Claire art department at (715) 836-3277.
