College of Business Awards Diversity Scholarships
During UW-Eau Claire's American Ethnic Potluck

EAU CLAIRE
Four students from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire received College of Business Diversity Scholarships totaling more than $4,700 during the annual American Ethnic Coordinating Office Student Recognition Potluck in September.
The $2,000 Northern States Power Diversity Scholarship, created in 1995 in response to NSP's commitment to diversity, was awarded to Mary Yang, a freshman elementary education major from Milwaukee. Xia Cha, a senior accounting major from Wausau, received recognition.
Receiving the $2,000 Norwest Bank Diversity Scholarship was Angela Krueger, an undeclared sophomore from Gillett. This scholarship was created in 1995 in recognition of Norwest Bank's commitment to diversity.
The Babu and Raja Baradwaj Scholarship for $250 was received by Ngan Thu Danh, a junior accounting major from Rochester, Minn. This scholarship was created in 1993 by Babu and Raja Baradwaj as a demonstration of their commitment to students and scholarship and their personal gratitude to UW-Eau Claire.
Receiving the Brad Olson Memorial Scholarship for $500 was Randy Perine, a senior marketing major from Milwaukee. This scholarship was created in 1995 by Hersch and Pat Olson in honor of their son, Brad, a sophomore accounting major who died during a fire in his home. -30- JM/AH
